Most Wonderful Lakes in the World

Nothing can beat the greatness of nature. With its natural look and beauty, you will surely be swept away and be in love with it. This is true when it comes to lakes where you can spend quite times, be with people you want to share the moment and be contented staring at the clear and stillness of the water.

Plitvice Lake

You will surely love the view of this lake, with 16 blue-green, clear waters connected to hundreds of waterfalls. You will enjoy a 10-minute loop leading you to the tallest waterfall in the world. You can also take a bit of hiking on the place where you will be with the nature surrounded by wildlife.

Peyto Lake

When talked about lakes, one of the famous lakes of the world is the Alberta's Lake Louise. Another famous lake is its sister lake 29 miles north along Icefields Parkway. The Banff National Park's Peyto Lake has turquoise.

Lake Atitlán

The lake can be found in the highlands of Guatemala, at the foot of three conical volcanoes. Around the lake is the home of more than 800 species of plants, mostly oak and pine trees.

Loch Lomond

It is a 24-mile lake which has islands that disappears during high water levels.  Ferries stop at the largest island, Inchmurrin where visitors can get a look at the remains of Lennox Castle which was used as a hunting lodge for kings.
